Norway May 2006, a set on Flickr.

From the archives

After Flickr invested in better maps I decided to go through my old photos and try to give them a facelift. I’m now done with the album Norway May 2006 which shows some photos from a combined business and private trip, covering Bergen, the provinces of Hordaland and Sogn og Fjordane as well as the town where I studied and lived for a year Tromsø.

Diashow of the first part of my trip to Brunei, Kota Kinabalu, Port Dickson and Kuala Lumpur

Kelimutu National Park near Moni, Flores (Indonesia)

Kelimutu National Park might be the most famous attraction of Flores. Nevertheless you won’t meet many other tourists during the low season. Entrance fee for bule was 26,000 rupiah in november 2010.

Kelimutu is one of Indonesia’s many volcanoes and as a mountain not that special. But the three caldera lakes which change their colours regularly are unique:

Danau Tiwu Ata Mbupu “Black Lake”

Danau Tiwu Nuamuri Koofai “Turquoise Lake”

Danau Tiwu Ata Polo “Brown Lake”

More to follow taken with real camera at flickr.

Nice restaurant, but too dark for decent photos!
