Kelimutu National Park near Moni, Flores (Indonesia)

Kelimutu National Park might be the most famous attraction of Flores. Nevertheless you won’t meet many other tourists during the low season. Entrance fee for bule was 26,000 rupiah in november 2010.

Kelimutu is one of Indonesia’s many volcanoes and as a mountain not that special. But the three caldera lakes which change their colours regularly are unique:

Danau Tiwu Ata Mbupu “Black Lake”

Danau Tiwu Nuamuri Koofai “Turquoise Lake”

Danau Tiwu Ata Polo “Brown Lake”
