Delicious dinner at Quah restaurant in Qunci Villas, Sengiggi Lombok (Indonesia)

Quah is one of two hotel restaurants at Qunci Villas. While most hotel restaurants are ok, but average. These two restaurants offer great dining pleasures to a very fair price. Both offer seating directly on the waterfront as well as under the roof.

Todays choise was:

- bread with there types of pesto (complementary)
- salad with prawns and other seafood
- “turf & surf”: grilled steak, potatoes, vegetables and orange sauce
- banana cheesecake with icecream

My first breakfast at Qunci was good and the view towards the Sea of Bali is not that bad either.

Exactly what was needed after another week to forgot that included annoying stomach sickness – and who would have guessed it – more plane problems.

Kelimutu National Park near Moni, Flores (Indonesia)

Kelimutu National Park might be the most famous attraction of Flores. Nevertheless you won’t meet many other tourists during the low season. Entrance fee for bule was 26,000 rupiah in november 2010.

Kelimutu is one of Indonesia’s many volcanoes and as a mountain not that special. But the three caldera lakes which change their colours regularly are unique:
